Hi, Thanks for taking the time to look at my auction. I will try to answer the questions that most people probably have about this business up front but if you need any more info or want me to explain anything, you can always get me via email: cretonou@aol.com First of all some people may be wondering why I would sell such a valuable asset, especially one that's been in my family for so long. Well the truth is, if I had any choice I wouldn't be selling. The reason I have been forced to put this business up for auction is because I am currently going through a pretty messy divorce and I have been advised by my lawyers to offload my web businesses as they will be in more danger during the divorce as I run them from home. The business was established on the 19th of November 2003. The business is called Cybertal and it is based around the website of the same name (due to eBay linking policy, I am forbidden from displaying the site's url, but if you email me I will be happy to provide it). The website is very well established, and has the following features: - Google Page Rank 2 Domain - The site has active contributing users, with over 9,500 comments and contributions from visitors - More than 2000 site pages along with 100s of products for sale - The site has low running costs: only $1,800 per month for Google AdWords plus $7.95 hosting fees - The site is highly profitable, last year alone it generated $232,980.50 - The average monthly income last year was $19,415.04 - The average monthly net profit last year was $17,607.09 - The main site pages and product prices update themselves automatically. - Fresh content is published to the site daily on an automatic schedule setup for the next 5 years As well as the website, the winning bidder will also receive everything necessary to ensure the smooth running of the business. This will include email, IM or Skype/telephone support from me, and a detailed owner's manual which explains exactly how to keep the site running and contains all the relevant information needed to keep the business profitable and to perhaps even increase the profits as you become more competent. For those bidders outside the United States, I would like to say that this is still a business in which you can invest. I used to carry on running this site even when I went on holidays and foreign business trips. Because it is online based it can be run from anywhere in the world. I accept two forms of payment. If the auction ends below $500 (which I doubt it will) then I would be happy to accept PayPal. However if the auction exceeds $500 then I must insist on using an escrow service (please search for "escrow" in the eBay Help sections for more information about this service). The relevant escrow fee will be payable by the buyer so please keep this in mind. Using an escrow service is much more reliable for large transactions and instead of paying for the business and then waiting for me to transfer everything as you would with PayPal, when we use escrow, no money is released to me until you have the site and you are in full control.
