The website is very well established, produce a large amount of income for me in addition to my current job. This business has been bringing in profits ever since it has first started! Also included in this auction you will also get the .net version of the same domain name. This is to ensure that there that no one else can try to imitate the business. This domain was registered at the same time as the .com so that it would protect the intellectual property. This is a very precious business that you may never see a again on eBay. Most claim to be established but has only been in business for months. This website business is truly established and been running since 2005. You will most likely not run into another opportunity like this where you can put in few hours to maintain a profitable business. How the Website Makes Money: The website sells a lifetime membership service to the site's member area for a one time price of $19.95. For this one time price your customers receive a username and password for the site's member area where they can log in and perform unlimited criminal record checks, background checks, civil records searches, marriage and divorce records, property record searches, phone number/email/address records, locate people, state-by-state public record searches and much more information. Basically the membership service provides consumers a low price alternative to conduct their own online investigations and research records. The information is provided in the resources and database which is listed inside the members area. This is a very popular and lucrative industry and you will be providing a highly sought after service for a lost cost. You may also change the price to any price you feel is fair. I have tested a few different price points and $19.95 obviously seems to work the best. The site is set up to receive payments automatically to your PayPal account and once the customer has completed checkout through PayPal, they are provided log in information to the site and issued the username & password to log into the members area. Everything is completely automated/hands off which makes it easy to manage. There is also a contact/support page where you customers can contact you for any support question they may have and there are instructions for them to have their password be resent if they need it. This is all handled automatically via email auto responders so you don't have to worry about answering a bunch of emails all the time. All emails from the customers for support questions are automatically routed to the support email address and an auto response message is sent to the customer providing common answers to questions and instructions on how to have the password resent. Pretty much the site does all the work for you! The only thing you do it collect your money from PayPal(the fun, easy part! and answering a couple questions that customers may have. Generally 3-5 a day. Sot here really is not much work involved at all here. Most of my time was spent on finding new ways to promote the business and work on search engine optimization for the organic first page listings. (Which there are a lot of I will list below!) On average, I would say I spend 7-10 hours per week operating the site.
