Hi, Thanks for taking the time to look at my auction. I will try to answer the questions that most people will probably have about this business up front; but if you need any more info or want me to explain anything, you can always reach me via email: cmkuhn6@gmail.com First of all some people may be wondering why I would sell such a valuable asset, especially one that's been very profitable for so long. Well the reason is I am getting out of the online business and opening a brick and mortar franchise and won't have the time to focus on both. The business was established on the 6th of December 2005. The business is called ResearchAnyone[dot]com (due to eBay linking policy, I am forbidden from displaying the site's url, but if you email me I will be happy to provide it). The website is very well established, it has been my sole source of income since the site went live at the end of 2005. I have been able to support my spouse and four children solely from the profits of this website business for the last 4+ years. Also included in this auction will be the .net version of the same domain name (ResearchAnyone[dot]net). This was registered at the same time I registered the main website above so I could protect the domain name and intellectual property from domain squatters. $How the Website Makes Money$: The website sells a lifetime membership service to the site's members area for a one time price of $19.95. For this one time price your customers receive unlimited access to the site's members area where they can log in and perform unlimited criminal record checks, background checks, civil record searches, marriage and divorce records, property record searches, phone number/email/address records, locate people, state-by-state public record searches and much more information. You can visit the site and see all the features and benefits members receive. Basically the membership service provides consumers a low price alternative to conduct their own online investigations on individuals with thousands of resources and databases listed inside the members area. This is a very popular and lucrative industry and you will be providing a highly sought after service at a very low one time cost. You may also change the price to any price you feel is fair. I have tested a few different price points and $19.95 obviously seems to work well. The site is set up to receive payments automatically to your paypal account and once the customer has completed checkout through paypal, they are automatically redirected back to the site and issued the username and password to log into the members area. Everything is completely automated/hands off which makes it a lot easier for you. On the site there is also a contact/support page where your customers can contact you for any support issues they may have and there are instructions for them to have the username and password resent if they need to . This is all handled automatically via email autoresponders so you don't have to worry about answering a bunch of emails and resending passwords all the time. All emails from customers for support questions are automatically routed to the support email address and an auto response message is sent to the customer immediately providing common answers to questions and instructions on how to have the password resent. Pretty much the site does all the work for you! The only thing you do is collect your money from paypal (the fun, easy part! ; ) and answer a couple of support questions people might have. Generally just 3-5 per day. So there really is not much work involved at all here. Most of my time was spent on finding new ways to promote the site to make more money and work on search engine optimization for organic first page listings. (Which there are a lot of I will list below!) On average, I would say I spend only about 10-15 hours per week operating the site. This is for sure something you can work part-time while still working a full-time job, yet it still brings in a very good full-time income. There is nothing technical to this either. When I started the site I had no more computer literacy than the average person does. The site averages 10 sales per day at $19.95, with the best day being 37 orders. Last month earnings were $6,530.49. Lifetime sales of the site top over $250,000 since the site went live in December 2005. The site is registered and hosted and 1and1. You are free to set up an account with them or once transferred you are free to host the site with whomever you wish. Both domain names were just renewed in December and are paid for through December 2010. Hosting will also be paid for through June of 2010. I use 1and1's business class hosting which guarantees 99.9% uptime and 24/7 technical support for $9.99/mo. This isn't one of those run of the mill so called "established" website businesses you see on ebay everyday that someone sells 100 of the same exact sites of. This is a real genuine established one-of-a-kind website business that generates real revenue, (You are pretty much buying a $5,000-$6,500 per month income) has been around for over 4 years, and has extensive listings on the first page of Google for many high dollar keyword phrases. People pay thousands of dollars and spend years trying to achieve the 'holy grail' First Page of Google! This has all been done for you and please feel free to Google these terms yourself and you will see the results speak for themselves... As well as the website, the winning bidder will also receive everything necessary to ensure the smooth running of the business.
